Where to get a suit?

Basically that! I'm 26, and finishing uni, I had a suit from Next for sixth form but it was awful :/ I had a nice one from Laura Ashley but it doesn't fit anymore, although it was much nicer than the cheap-o Next one. I don't really know where to start. I'd prefer a jacket and skirt, decently tailored and not horribly expensive. Am I being too picky?

Jigsaw does beautiful tailoring. I bought one of their suits a few years ago for my first 'good' job and it's been brilliant. www.jigsaw-online.com/category/womens/clothing_tailoring

Would say sizing is a touch generous, so need to try on.

M&s autograph range is not a bad place to start, as is the JL own brand range mentioned by PP. If you have a bit more to spend, then Hobbs would be worth a look (better to wait for one of their 20% offers though).
