I'm looking at the block teck raincoat as a mid season gap filler until I need my proper winter coat. Has anyone any experience of them? I'm also curious as to the difference between the coat and the raincoat as on the website all I can differentiate is colours. Thanks!

I really like it!

Do you have one? What's the sizing like?

I've just bought this. It's lovely.

I got mine on Amazon. I actually bought the parks and they sent me the long jacket by mistake. Right colour, smokd.

It comes in lots of other colours. It is unisex.

I bought one a few weeks ago in black, love it. Its very light so not very warm. I have a bit of a big bum so I preferred it to the cut of the 'rains' one. I went for XL (size 14) so I can fit jumpers etc underneath, but the L fit ok. I also accidentally bought the pack away down coat

Thanks for the suggestion, Josiah, but that's a bit too shapeless for me - I need something to demarcate my boobs from my hips!

Don't mind it being light, Lots, it is for warm, rainy days that I need something. I feel the cold so I have a padded coat for October and a full in thermal affair for after that! Good to know about the sizing. I'm about a 12 (hopefully back to a 10 soon) so probably need the large.

yes it has a drawstring thing around the waist but I actually prefer a straight line on mine so I don't pull it!

You should be ok with a medium if you want it snug, if you want a loser fit or to wear jumpers etc I's go for large.....

spinduffy · 21/08/2017 20:37

I don't have one, but now want one after seeing your link!

MulhuddartDrive · 21/08/2017 20:42

Grin sorry about that! These pages cost me a bloody fortune.

Bloody love uniqlo.... their shirts, easy care ankle trousers, soft bras, its all so easy and looks stylish and smart. I make a trip to London a couple of times a year to go there!

MulhuddartDrive · 21/08/2017 21:12

I've just bought the coat, and since I was there had a look in the sale area and picked up a navy romper Blush

Zara has a similar one but cream/ light blue m.zara.com/uk/en/woman/trending-now/water-repellent-parka-c0p4760113.html

I tried it in was nice. Not sure if water repellant is waterproof though. I imagine the Uniqlo one is better quality.

It arrived, I love it but it looks awful on me.
