What would you wear with this skirt?

Thinking about buying it, wondering what other people would team it with.

Not those shoes. I would think shirt/blouse and I'd be looking for a strong colour - maybe yellow. And put it with trainers or with quite funky boots.

A strong colour, as in not pastel? What do white and black count as?

I can't wear yellow though. Went to a personal shopper consultation way back and the only thing I remember her saying is "never wear yellow!" It looks weird on me.

What's the fabric? I don;t like the blue but could be tempted by the black. I actually rather like the shoes it's paired with, for a casual summer look.

I would avoid this fabric - it's like the old crimplene. If you want it a lot, a floral shirt/T shirt or crisp white shirt would help it along. It's rather granny like.
