Hi,
Could I have the benefit of your wisdom?
I have a posh dinner with friends coming up. It's trendy rather than formal.
As above, I'm busty and a size 16, 14 On a good day. Decent legs. I'd prefer a bit of a sleeve if possible, even if it's just a cap sleeve.
Any ideas?

I like this but would prefer sleeves.

BreakHerOffAKitKat · 19/08/2017 20:21

Thank you Travis have just ordered two wiggle dresses Grin

travis45 · 19/08/2017 20:36

Aw great, I am similar shape to what you described and I love a wiggle dress. Hope you like them 😊

BreakHerOffAKitKat · 19/08/2017 20:42

Oh I'm not the OP but she could have been describing me!!!

CantChoose · 19/08/2017 21:01

cherypie if you really have the same figure as me you'll look great in that Phase eight dress - I own it and it's really flattering. I'd prefer to avoid too much print for this though.
I do like those ASOS ones, might have to try one. I never order from them, how does the sizing come up? Maybe I'll just order a 14 and 16...

Should have said budget, sorry. I guess up to £150 but I'd prefer less if possible!

Whoops sorry break. Due to pop, was lying down and half sleeping.

You will look fab, style of dress that will suit all shapes I think.

travis45 · 19/08/2017 21:14

I ordered both 14 and 16 with a khaki one, I ended up going with the 14 op

CantChoose · 19/08/2017 21:34

Thanks travis, will order and see.
Still open to other suggestions though :D

Scarlett & Jo have amazing dresses for anyone busty.

I'm a large chested size 14/16 and these are the best fitting dresses I've found and really good quality . Usually around £65 but marisota do 20% first orders if that's any help Smile

Not sure if these suit as don't know your age or style.

Have you also thought about top with midi skirt?

As you can see I like black 😁

Oh no! I wrote a long reply with responses to each person then my battery died. Short version...

Thanks all, lots of useful suggestions, not just for the event in question but some other stuff coming up too..

Travis I love the last silk Fred one. I'm 29, style occasionally frumpy but trying to change that!! I'd love to try a skirt and top but it's not something I'd usually wear and I'm scared of getting it wrong. My wallet hates you and hopes you get lots of sleep...Grin

cherrypie I had seen that striped dress before and fancied it, we def seem to have similar taste / shape! I've got a very similar monsoon one which is extremely flattering. You're right though, I don't think a maxi is quite right for the occasion.
