Lipo experiences...

Considering lipo on my thighs. Anyone had experience - either the laser or surgical variety? I'd be interested to hear what you have to say about it. Thanks x

I looked into it but apparently it does nothing to improve cellulite and can make it look worse

Not so bothered about the cellulite. Just the size!! I'm short with short legs and big saddlebags and any weight I gain goes straight there. Buying trousers is tricky as my hips and waist aren't that big but small sizes I can hardly yank over my huge thighs! I've always hated them and recently been thinking about this. Does it seem dangerous and horribly vain though?!

Don't worry about it seeming vain, if it's going to make you feel confident then go for it. The recovery is fast even from surgical lipo (I don't know about other methods but those are probably even quicker). Just go to a reputable surgeon and it'll be fine.

Thanks. It would make me happy to have shapely thighs, pathetic as I know that sounds! I've not really started looking into it properly yet. Just wondered if it was worth it/ pointless/ incredibly painful/ long term solution/ dangerous....etc. Not sure where to get the lowdown.

No, not even got that far yet. Where to begin?! Everyone says check out the surgeon, but not sure how to do that!
