It's a bit shapeless Confused

AnnMeredithPerkins · 19/08/2017 09:58

Oh I really don't like that at all

Weird colour and shape

Nishky · 19/08/2017 09:58

It's massively unattractive and would be filthy within minutes- does that help Grin

UnaPalomaBlanca · 19/08/2017 09:59

I don't know what you look like so it could look great on you.
But I don't like the colour at all.

TerfwithaNerf · 19/08/2017 10:00

Those pink coats are very beauty blogger circa 2015 imo. They were bloody everywhere. And don't flatter very many wearers.

Floisme · 19/08/2017 10:00

Well I like the shape. I'm happy to enable you as I love coats but if you want talking down:

  1. Coats are only just starting to come out so you may be jumping the gun by buying now.
  2. That colour would be totally impractical unless you have 'staff' for everything.
  3. There are only 2 buttons (and are they even proper buttons? See next point.) so I don't see how it would be very warm. It looks like a coat for those fabulous crisp, bright, dry autumn days but how many of them do we really get?
  4. I can't see any buttonholes. Does it fasten with poppers? If it does then that would be a deal breaker for me.
MyfanwyMontez · 19/08/2017 10:01

It looks very dated, circa 80's - shapeless and a horrible colour.

Nanodust · 19/08/2017 10:03

Thank you, just what I needed 😊👍🏼

It would get very dirty. You would be afraid to sit anywhere. I imagine it can't just be flung in the wash. Would you wear it but n a year.

No, no and thrice no I say.

BluePheasant · 19/08/2017 10:04

It's like it's designed not to fit anyone Confused looks about 6 sizes too big on the model.

Carmichaela · 19/08/2017 10:08

I bought a pink one last year. Wore it once. My mother asked why I was going shopping in my dressing gown

ForumUsername · 19/08/2017 10:47

I love it!

Think it would be an amazing everyday coat
It would look great over skinny jeans and boots
I like oversized coats worn over slim outfits
Colour isn't practical I know but it would really brighten up a drab day

Sorry not talking you down just helping to enable
Where is it and how much?! I may be interested 😀

Rainatnight · 19/08/2017 10:49

Depends on how often you're planning on being whimsical in fairgrounds.

Intransige · 19/08/2017 10:55

Coocoon coats make me look potato shaped. They tend to be hard to make work unless you're quite tall

NSEA · 19/08/2017 10:56

Thjs will only look good if you have no arms. Or wear it hanging over your shoulders

Judydreamsofhorses · 19/08/2017 12:54

I love the shape, but personally don't like/wear pastels so the colour would put me off. (It would also last two minutes before I spilt something on it!)

LoniceraJaponica · 19/08/2017 13:11

"Think it would be an amazing everyday coat"

Does it never rain where you live? Sadly, an everyday coat here would be a warm parka.

I don't like the coat. The colour is impractical, and unless you live somewhere it never rains, how often will you get to wear it?

Is it from M & S?

userofthiswebsite · 19/08/2017 13:16

It's not the most flattering of shapes.
Whilst I have no issues with pink, it's a bit too cold a pink in my eye.
Keep looking for an alternative.

Ps I know the love for coats and jackets. My fave thing to buy.

TSSDNCOP · 19/08/2017 13:18

I love it. If you don't want it I will. Where's it from?

Nanodust · 19/08/2017 13:52

It's from Jigsaw but I've seen it in a local designer lightly used (2nd hand) clothes boutique, it's £109.00........

I love the colour! Every time I see it on someone I think I must get a coat in that colour, but I haven't yet.

I like the shape, if I were a size 10 I'd get it. At the moment I'm a very big 12 so I probably wouldn't. But if it suits you, I'd say go for it!

It's not going to be practical, but eh, that's such a minor consideration. Wink

Good price, too....

PuppyMonkey · 19/08/2017 16:29

Grin at Rain.

I was just wondering what she's thinking about: "might go on the Walters next."

PuppyMonkey · 19/08/2017 16:30
  • waltzers.
squoosh · 19/08/2017 16:33

I quite like it. The kind of thing Kim Novak would have worn in Vertigo.

KickAssAngel · 19/08/2017 16:37

Dolores Umbridge.
