I'm 5'2" size 8 and have hair like the model.
Is this suitable for an evening do at a posh venue in November?
I thought I would wear flat pretty silver sandals with it as I can't dance in heels and it's a Scottish ceilidh type affair so I won't be sitting down much!

Or is it too light/long/summery?

Thanks

Someone was posting about this dress just yesterday, she's wearing it to a wedding - but she's a bridesmaid! It's a nice dress but wouldn't wear it for a ceilidh personally. Do you know what colour the BMs are in? Would avoid that colour.

I've no idea about the bridesmaids but the invites had red on and skulls so I'm thinking it won't be overly traditional BM dresses

Is it too bridesmaidy then?

Looks like a bridesmaids dress - and it is out of stock?? Unless you can get it somewhere else.

BendydickCuminsnatch · 19/08/2017 08:21

I'd say too bridesmaidy and too long and formal for a ceilidh - will get in the way and all ceilidh weddings I've been to haven't been super formal affairs.

Ok will scratch that idea then. (I managed to get it in a size 8)

Any Ideas for alternatives then - I really don't want to wear heels so that I can enjoy myself and dance but I don't know what kind of dress to wear!

I have a really lovely similar style dress from monsoon but it has little flowers on and I thought it might be too summery for a November wedding

What's your budget?

Budget up to £100?

I just don't know what style to choose to wear with flats, everything I look at is styled with sky scraper heels!
