Supposed to be a good alternative to eyelash extensions or perming:

Any experiences?

Thanks

I like it but there are rules to follow...

I've had both good and bad experiences.

It's all in the skill of the practitioner/beautician. If the lashes aren't set properly, they can kink or cross over and if the bottom lashes aren't protected properly, they can turn funny too. They should really wash off the 'perming' solution with water in a bowl. Not just dab at it with cotton buds.

Avoid any beauticians who are available straight away when you try to book. Always go with somebody who is booked up months in advance.

ThanksGrey.

I've booked one for before my holiday in October so fingers crossed!

She's done a good job of my eyebrows so I feel positive!

I've heard good things but apparently it's very boring! Grin

I love it - although once it just didn't take on one of my eyes. I got it redone and it gave me a bit more lift.

It lasts about 6-8 weeks.

Makes me look much more awake. I have dead straight eyelashes and struggle to hold a curl no matter what curlers /mascara I use.

I've had it done three times (over 18 months) in a local salon and think it's amazing. I have long but very straight, fine lashes that always drop any curl with eyelash curlers very quickly. LVL is amazing, it gives fantastic curl, the colour lasts much longer than an eyelash tint and I always have it done before a hol if I can. Definitely recommend.

I have it and thoroughly recommend it. They look amazing at it lasts for ages.

Yes I've had it a few times. You'll need to have a patch test to check for allergies. The actual treatment itself feels a little weird at first, but relax I treat it as a little "rest". The results are great and it lasts for ages
