Hi all!

I am thinking of setting up an online shop for hijabs and headscarves mainly. Including neck ties and other scarf styles and accessories. Think tie rack!

How do you think this would do? Any covered ladies think its a good idea? I struggle to find good scarves here in the uk.

I havent done anything yet just something that popped into my head this morning and thought i would look into.

Simarly any other scarf lovers out there? I used to add one to my hnd bag or neck before i covered my hair.

Let me know what you all think please!

I personally do not wear them however there's definitely a market for them and I think it's a great idea Smile

Good luck OP!

Think there would be lots of competition/the market is quite saturated so would worry about that

Great idea but think you would need more of a luxury product rather than run of the mill cheap and cheerful.

Theres loads of online shops selling headscarves but the quality and prints/colours aren't always very nice. A lot are cheap thin materials that bobble easy. If you do start a business I agree with the pp, it needs to be something luxury and worth the price tag. I like to buy long scarves from places like monsoon/accessorize and TK Maxx now because the quality is good but I don't break the bank balance. Some online "luxury" hijab shops are a total rip off and charge a lot of money for goods that aren't very good quality at all.

Thanks everyone! Thats exactly it! I have bought them onlime and are rubbish or boring! I like colour and good quality and good price. I normally buy abroad but we havent been for a few years and probably wont for a few more. So would like the oppertunity to do it myself. Similarly a lot of clothing in the uk is so see throigh you have to layer up. Or the lining of a maxi dress is only to the knee. Kind of defeats the object! But for a good one its sky high prices. Will be doing some research. Will speak to hubby tonight x
