Nothing I have which is suitable fits me currently. I'm a size 14 pear shape in my early 40s. 5'4" tall and I do not suit fussy or frilly. I'm a winter in colour terms. The wedding is at the register office and reception at the couple's home. I don't know either of them, having met the groom just once about three years ago. In fact, I doubt I will know anyone there other than DP but would like to make a good impression as it's his family.
I don't want to spend a lot either, unless it's something I can wear again, maybe for work? I have a couple of nice jackets, a black ruched skirt, good shoes, etc. but don't want to look too cobbled together IYSWIM. Argh!
