Anyone tried Thinx?

Those period pants? I want to give it a go, but they ship from America so I have to pay duty and taxes. And they're not cheap. So want to be as sure as I can be that they're worth it!

Anyone try them?

I like them as a supplement to tampons as a just in case. The big ones are nice and snug and they do fit well. Yes they are pricey and I doubt I'd use them on their own during that totm but as am menopausal they're great as a just in case and look ok.

Thanks user! How did you find the sizing?

I love them! I wouldn't use them alone on a really heavy day, but for lighter days they're perfect and really do feel dry and comfortable. I find the sizing runs small, though.

I'm a 14 and got large & the large briefs

Ooh fab thank you! Am also a bit concerned about the height of them as I have a c-section scar that most undies seem to touch. Ouch!

Did either of you ever have a c-section? Might go for the biggest ones they've got! Am usually a size 10 so thinking medium?

Yes 2 c sections so I have similar issues with the scar - go for the big ones.

I have used them for a year now and don't use any other type of protection. On my heaviest day I would have to change pairs say 3 times but that's still preferable to using ST's IMO. The remainder of my period, I'll wear one pair all day and change into a fresh pair at around 8pm. I'm perimenopausal so have heavy and slightly unpredictable cycle. So much nicer to wear a pair of those on my "just in case" days than a pad. I find their sizing spot on. Don't be tempted to size up. You want a neat snug fit.

Fab thanks user and edina! Will get my usual size in that case then. And opt for those high wasted ones!

(I'll report back in case this thread is useful for anyone else!)
