Linen tshirts

Where's best to buy linen tshirts?
I bought some from gap but the colour has gone translucent in some patches and they seem to have lost their shape quite badly after washing.

I have some from J Crew but Idk that any of their stuff is all that well-made either.

MulhuddartDrive · 15/08/2017 00:12

I got some on la redoute last summer and they have lasted well.

abigailgabble · 15/08/2017 00:25

idk exactly what you mean but sounds like the kind of thing poetry and wrap do -- all good as long as you err towards pastels.

LorLorr2 · 15/08/2017 00:27

I think I bought one from H&M last month.

LorLorr2 · 15/08/2017 00:28

Oh and quality seems fine, can't imagine it getting patchy or losing shape :)

LockedOutOfMN · 15/08/2017 01:35

H&M have off white V neck ones (short sleeve) at the moment.

Hebe2017 · 15/08/2017 04:58

I bought some line t-shirt last summer, but it seems to lose their shape easily after washing, so i prefer Chiffon T-shirt now.

Found these only this summer, but am very pleased so far. Shall know in a few years how well they wear, so far is looking good;-

These are 'slub cotton', rather than linen, but seem to wear well at half the price

Also h&m, but they were very thin and appear to develop small holes very quickly.

Its been a good season for these tops, for me

peaceloveandbiscuits · 15/08/2017 05:26

Don't get M&S ones - the two I bought last summer now have holes in them Angry

Boredomismyenemy · 15/08/2017 10:36

I have several H&M ones, one was bought 2 summers ago, the rest since. They are all still holding their shape and colour perfectly well. I do wash them in a laundry bag from Wilko so they don't catch on other things in the machine and line dry as normal.

LockedOutOfMN · 15/08/2017 16:00

Laundry bag is a great idea, Boredomismyenemy. Thanks! I have a three year old one from Zara that has a pinprick sized hole, luckily in an inconspicuous place so I just wear it anyway!

Bloomed · 15/08/2017 16:02

There are some nice pure linen John Lewis own brand tshirts which are half price at the moment.

mrslebon · 15/08/2017 16:27

Look in the Jigsaw sale. Great quality and wash well, unless you're a dick like me and accidentally tumble dry them Hmm

Boredomismyenemy · 15/08/2017 20:39

Laundry bags are amazing lockedout! The one I bought was dirt cheap and is slightly padded, I use it for delicates, linen and cashmere and so far everything has come out unharmed!
