Work wardrobe update

If you you were going to spend up to £300 on updating your work clothes, what would you buy and from where?
I've really neglected my work wardrobe over the past couple of years and it needs a freshen up. I usually wear pencil skirts with a blazer - a suit would be too formal, but I need to wear a blazer/jacket.
I think I'd quite like to get some shirts as I don't usually wear them. The places I usually shop don't have anything that really stands out.

Should say, 30 years old and can wear most style although feel thighs could be too chunky for those crop trousers like in the pic attached.

Uniqlo for fine knits - I get Size S in men's but size L/ XL in women's is a nice loose-ish fit (I am Size 12, 5'10)

Whistles sale for some drapery culottes in black, grey or navy blue, finery sale for wide leg trousers in grey, blue.

Jigsaw sale for some smart little boots in burgundy or beige and a cute handbag while I'm at it. Jacket-wise many people have luck in Zara for either boucle, tweed or blazers in every colour of the rainbow.

I do uniform dressing for work so this would mix and match nicely. Can you tell I've been avidly window shopping??

I can't wear Zara myself as too narrow in shoulders for me...

A couple of patterned dresses that don't need ironing and look instantly "done" - maybe Boden or someone at John Lewis. I know you'll obvs get fewer outfits out of them than separates but for me, the ease of getting ready in the mornings beats that!

Culottes is a good call although I'm not sure how to transition mine into autumn - brogues will look weird for me so maybe pointy flats. I'm a fan of Boden silk shirts for the look but they're handwash-only so I've been looking at the Uniqlo silk-touch ones, which I wish they did in patterns.

I was in Benetton yesterday and they had some lovely silk/cotton blend, cotton/cashmere blend and cotton fine knit tops that would look great under a blazer. They were up to 70% off.

I wear my culottes with ankle boots (I believe there is some kind of mn controversy about this) I think they look smoking
