Does this dress make me look like a kangaroo?

I think this dress is a pretty fabric, but that bottom fold is sticking out too much isn't it? It looks like a pouch. Handy for snack storage I suppose

It's also a thick polyester / viscose mix (the fabric used in those shapeless old ladies dressies on market stalls)

It cost £50...do you think that's too much for a polyester kangaroo dress? Or is it all fine and I'm over thinking this?

It looks like it's not sitting properly, although it clearly is and doesn't look to be too small, it's a pretty dress but that would put me off

Nope - not overthinking it. The bottom pleat looks faulty like it's not been gathered tight enough and definitely sticks out too much like a pouch! Also, it's not a very flattering length - you look like you have a fab figure and it's not doing anything for you cutting you off mid calf. I'm sure you can do better 😄

I think you're right. Such a shame. I've ironed it and that hasn't helped. Annoying I do really like the print and style. If it had cost half the amount, I would maybe put up with it or try and sew it down, but i feel for £50 it should just work.

The length isn't actually too bad but I am going to send it back (and you have to pay return postage grrr) even my husband said it was too pouchy and he always struggles to find an opinion on clothes
