Suggested this on another thread as an ongoing point of reference for anyone who wants to see 'real life' gel polish colours used at home. Seeing as most bluesky/elite99/kiarasky are internet purchases it's not always obvious how they're going to turn out. Please add your own, I'd find this really useful. This week mine are elite99 shade 127, also called 'hot pink' or 'deep pink'.

I love elite99 but not overly happy with the coverage on this; slightly translucent, and lifting at one nail base already. I wanted a colour match to a traditional varnish colour shown in the second pic which is max factor 'just cheerful' but I have yet to find the same gel colour with the kind of metallic undertone glitter.

Over to everyone else....

Gelish Poparazzi Pose. It's a proper hot "in your face" pink!

Red Carpet The Final Touch... was a bit disappointed with this one, it looked like rose gold in the pictures but there's no rose in it at all. It's just a plain gold. Nice enough but not what I wanted!

Thanks. That Gelish one looks like the colour I was after!

Alabasterangel6 it's a fabulous pink, really bright but it doesn't have any metallic tones to it.
