Skin Protecting Summer Dressing

Any tips?

I have had a biopsy that says solar keratosis, which is a pre-cancerous lesion. I really want to protect my skin more.

I have been applying sunscreen as long as I can remember. I wear UV hoodie (started last summer).

How do you protect your skin through clothing? Also, I used to wear shorts and skirts during summer but I'm getting worried so I will stop doing that and shift to pants. Any tips on pants which will not make me die of heat? I'm from Australia.

I used to live in a hot country where I had to be fairly covered up and I actually found being covered up from the sun was invariably cooler than having my skin exposed so you may be okay once you get used to it. Not sure of your style obviously but some of the things I used to wear were crinkle/cheesecloth/fine jersey type wide leg trousers, 3/4 wide leg culottes, light material hareem/jogger styles. Beachwear sections of shops often have very good, lightweight pants which aren't all really beachy looking too. I can also neither confirm nor deny that I sometimes wore very fine pyjama pants out and about!

I think you're either a maxi dress person or you're not but with a very fine scarf for extra coverage, they're nice to wear when it's really hot.
