I'm mid 50's but told I look younger. 5"8 and a size 16....legs are a mess due to a medical condition.
For many year's I was very much "rock chick" style - however the last few year's, for many reasons, I've sort of lost myself and don't know how to get back on track. I'm not vain, not a clothes mad person but am in such a rut.
Help??

You're not alone. 44 and lost former rock chick becoming a frumpy rut myself but determined to find my look again. My issue is weight gain.

If you have problems with legs could you rock black jeans?

I think you're tall, which always helps (Im 5ft 2 and look terrible in jeans, but found some high waisted ones in New Look to cover muffin top)

Maybe coupled with a black blazer tshirt and nice silver jewellery. A plether or denim jacket is a staple item too.

It's so hard when you've always had a look and age/body shape tries to steer you to Frumpton. There was a zombie thread recently about wearing Converse past 40, but I wouldn't dream of trading mine in (I have some with a modest wedge) for comfy sandals.

My mother is 72 and retains a glam rock look that's still chic and not frocky horror, because it is stylish.
