This is the shade that suits me best but i need it to be sheer/natural and therefore not too 'in your face'. Any ideas?

Clinique Chubby Sticks have some nice berry colours.

FrLukeDuke · 13/08/2017 22:33

I like the Nivea tinted lip balms

Angrybird123 · 14/08/2017 07:02

The clinique chubby stock in fuller fig is my everyday thing. Their Black Honey is also great but hard to get hold of - it's the only one they still do if a 'barely there' range from years ago.

upsidedown2017 · 14/08/2017 07:02

I'll take a look at both of those thank you!

clinique do a lovely sheer one called liquorice pop that might float your boat... i used to be a black honey fan but this is better!

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 14/08/2017 13:43

Medieval is what you need, it stays on for minutes though.

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 14/08/2017 13:45

Liquorice pop looks pretty much identical, and it might be cheaper.

Maudlinmaud · 14/08/2017 13:50

Not sure if they are still available but Elizabeth arden did an eight hour lippy in nice subtle berry tones, very much like a tinted balm but great colour pay off.

woollyminded · 14/08/2017 14:20

I bought Medieval after reading about it here and it is indeed lovely but what Char says above is true, it's gone so quickly. Do the chubby sticks give a similar effect for longer?

Cataline · 14/08/2017 14:25

The carmex berry tinted balm is brilliant!

CremeDeSudo · 14/08/2017 14:26

Berts Bee's shimmer lips are good!

woollyminded · 14/08/2017 14:33

I found the Burts Bees ones made my lips sting. Really disappointing because they look lovely

Ok I'm going to pick up the Clinique and Carmex suggestions to try tomorrow :)

Burts Bees lip crayons are amazing. Long-lasting but sheer enough to put on without a mirror. And moisturising. My HG!

Fozzleyplum · 14/08/2017 23:14

I use Clinique black honey or this

AuntyElle · 14/08/2017 23:15

Or for even sheerer, their tinted balm, but this needs reapplying:

Dior lip tattoo in berry

cm38 · 15/08/2017 10:19

I bought a Mia one yesterday and have had a couple of comments already on how nice it looks! With lip balm it looks so natural yet a nice colour. Only £1 too! It's called mystic Marsala!

Bluesheep8 · 16/08/2017 08:05

I got the carmex berry balm yesterday on recommendations from this thread-perfect! Just what I've been searching for for years, so another vote for that
