I'm not working for the next few weeks and really love the look of the bright pink neon polishes I've seen around.
I ordered some China Glaze White on White as a base and used CG Pink Voltage over it to bring out the colour.
I am soooo disappointed - my nails look like I've used a highlighter over Tippex. The white is streaky (could do with 2 coats) and the top coat is very thin and has needed 3 coats (still looks rubbish).
What am I doing wrong and what would be better? The neon pinks I've seen on actual people look more of a creme/opaque formulation rather than the thin matte look I have achieved. Is it likely they are gel polish?
