Graduation/job interview outfit help

I'm in dire need of an outfit suitable for both my upcoming graduation and subsequent job interviews. I'd like maybe a nice black shirt with a shirt or blouse and am willing to spend up to £100ish on both and put them away as investment pieces. I want to look classic but not old fashioned! As I'm only 5"3, I don't want a shirt that is too long. I've been looking at this and this one

Thanks so much for your help Smile

Love the skirts you have impeccable taste. Have you thought about a shift dress you can wear them with or without a blouse underneath and with a jacket for an interview.

Thank you Fletcherl Grin a shift dress is a good idea. Seen any nice ones?

I graduated a couple of years ago (slightly mature student) and most women wore nice dresses, like a wedding, not office attire.
Few women wear suits in the office now, a smart dress and jacket would probably be better interview wear.

I'm also a mature student. Does the dress have to be black? Thanks so much for all of your help.
