Superdrugs 2 for a £5 offer, semi-perm , alleges to last 28 washes.

I've used permenant before and henna but nothing for 10 months.

So my questions:

it says for long/thick hair use 2 boxes. I have very short hair . Could I use half or is it not worth the aggro mixing half (it'll be 50ml+25ml full pack. ) . The cost is £2/50 a pack + whatever I have to bribe DD with to help me Grin

I bought a 6.0 shade (I have dark hair with 30% grey) - should I leave it more than the 20 minutes? . Done my allergy test , I'll do a strand test tomorrow.

And do I leave washing it for a few days after (I did with my other dyes to help them take)

I don't think I can go back to having roots so hence the Semi-P .

I would mix the full pack up for your first one, and see how much you have left afterwards. There's nothing worse than when you're half-way across your head, and realise that you're running out of dye Shock

Thanks

I did the whole bottle mix and I've saved (and rinsed) the empty bottle so next time I can do half. (There was about 1cm left so I wouldn't have got away with half I think)

I'm Smile pleased my grey/white hair has taken the colour well, I'm relieved I didn't go for a too dark shade , it would've looked dense.
DD reckons my natural colour (that isn't grey) is black but it is very dark brown I think.

I have a before/after pic that I'll upload.

It says 28 washes but white hair loses colour quicker and my roots will be shining through grey before then , next cut due in 3-4 weeks.
