Leggings for a post natal body?

I'm due to give birth in a few weeks and I've decided I want some leggings for the days when pyjamas just aren't going to cut it.

Can anyone recommend some black leggings that are thick enough that my knickers won't show, and high enough on the waist that my belly will be held in a bit?

Honesty just get maternity leggings. It takes a while for everything to shrink back down and if you have a c section you will be glad of over bump maternity leggings.

I wore my maternity leggings for 3 or 4 weeks after my section but found I then wanted something to hold me in a bit more. The bump part of the maternity leggings was too loose.

Anyway I bought these and they've been great. A little higher waisted than normal leggings with a wide waist band so they don't dig in. Don't seem to go baggy at the knees either

Mint velvet do lovely thick leggings with a high waistband. Not see through at all. These ones.

Lenl are the Tesco ones slightly thicker? Or would they show wobblybits/cellulite?

Lenl · 13/08/2017 21:44

They feel thick enough for me and I have lots of wobbly bits ShockGrin

I've had much thinner/shittier leggings in the last whereas these feel nice quality and I never worry anything can be seen. I feel confident in them even when I'm wearing a top that only just covers my bum. The mint velvet ones may be thicker but I didn't want to spend too much as currently losing weight.
Don't know if that helps Smile
