Lash tint and HD brows- what to expect?

I'm about to go on a beach holiday and decided to up my game and have a lash tint and HD brows done so I don't need makeup on the beach. What happens during the treatment and how long do the results last? I normally use powder on my eyebrows to define them and fill in gaps where they've gone sparse, and Wear mascara every day, so I'm trying to get the make up look with no makeup, but not look overdone. Have I chosen the right thing to have done?

I get both done regularly. This is how mine are done.

Eyelash tint gets put on first so eyes cleansed first with non oily makeup remover then petroleum jelly applied with cotton bud around eyes to stop any stray tint from dying your skin. Little pre cut pads put under bottom lashes, again to stop any migrating tint. Close eyes and tint is applied. While that's on brows are tinted. Brow tint removed first (I don't like mine dark so it's not left on too long). There's different coloured dye available for both eyelashes and brows. Blue black best for eyelashes as it gives the most defined colour in my opinion. Eyelash tint is left on about 10 mins. Any less and it just doesn't work on me. Tint taken off then brow shaping begins which is a mixture of waxing, threading and trimming. The appointment time given is 30 minutes.

I get both done every 4-6 weeks. Bearing in mind that on holiday, if you're in and out of the pool, the results won't quite be as long lasting but it will certainly last over the holiday.

Eyelash tiniting doesn't add the volume or lift of a mascara so you might miss that. The eyebrow tint, tints the hairs that are there so again, it's not going to be the same effect as makeup. I hope that helps.

Thanks, that's just what I needed to know!

What's the difference between normal brow tinting and HD though?

Probably depends a bit on where you go. At the salon I go to if I have eyebrow tint and wax, the tint they use is different (they use HD branded when doing HD brows but another generic brand if not- not sure how much difference that makes to be honest). They spend more time shaping the brow, so using threading and trimming. A eyebrow wax is just that. I prefer having HD done and contrary to some opinions it is not about having a 'scouse brow' or whatever they're called. That is absolutely not the look I want and it's not what I get. I get nicely shaped brows a shade darker than my normal eyebrow colour.

Thanks that's the look I want, not overly dark or harsh brows just groomed and defined. Will chat to the therapist before the treatment.
