Luxurious feel body moisturizer wanted - effective too.

After the million bucks thread I realized I feel great when my whole body is moisturized. I have dry skin on my body and particularly my legs are flaky and show white cracks of dehydration if I don't use something on them daily. However if my legs are not on show, I get lazy with daily hydration.
Could you please recommend a body cream/lotion that will feel so pampering and luxurious that will motivate me to use it often? It def needs to have a scent and keep dry skin hydrated for as many of the 24hrs as possible, as I can only apply once daily.
Also I prefer bottles with pumps better. Could also do a jar. But no tubes; they are a nightmare to use.
In terms of ingredients: no mineral oil, no parabens for sure.
I would equally love both pricey and cheaper suggestions.

Body shop Hawaiian kukui butter smells incredible and works wonders
I sometimes put some body oil on the drier parts and this on the rest

Cheap but smells amazing and moisturises well is Avon Cocoa Butter, lotion or body butter. Smells gorgeous but obvs not in your luxury category

i was going to come on and say what lazy said - i've never used a moisturiser as consistently but it's made my skin lovely and soft.

So many good suggestions. I am a bit slow to check them out as currently on holiday, but I am checking out each and every one. So far I am tempted to try soap and glory as an affordable option. But will also get one more expensive. I know clarins have some great products and you seem to agree, but the packaging is either a tube or a bottle? Hmm.
Diptyque sounds nice but I don't like smell of orange. Prefer woodsy, gourmand, lemony, musky smells, or even some flowers but not jasmine or Lilly of the valley.
Thanks for mentioned Estee lauder bronze goddess whipped cream, I wear the perfume every summer, why didn't I think of it? Maybe next summer as in winter I switch perfumes.

Just came back to let you know I got this and been using it every day:
Darphin cream

Light buttery feel, very easy to absorb but very nourishing! Hydration lasts 24 hrs. Apply to my whole body and I can get dressed immediately. Also firms skin! I love it on my legs, decolletage, arms and elbows.. makes everything soft and nourished.
Only downside for me: it smells of white flowers. At least that's what my nose gets. Some people like it, I don't. But it's a nice and subtle smell anyway, just not to my liking.

Kiehl's Creme de Corps is THE Creme de la Creme of body creams.

MumBod · 30/08/2017 06:24

Body Shop butters. I've stockpiled in case they all close down. The coconut one is particularly gorgeous.

Aveeno fan as well. I sometimes slather Aveeno on to really moisturise then wait 5 minutes and then put on more expensive moisturiser ( currently Jo Malone) . The scent of the more expensive one stays longer that way😈

babybat · 30/08/2017 11:28

Love this one - boring packaging, but it smells gorgeous - citrusy and fresh. Keeps my skin really soft and the bottle lasts for ages: www.amazon.co.uk/Biotherm-Anti-Drying-Body-Milk/dp/B000M00404?tag=mumsnetforum-21

Also Kiehls, which smells heavenly but has a price tag to match: www.johnlewis.com/kiehl%27s-creme-de-corps-soy-milk-honey-whipped-body-butter

PinkLipsDontLie · 30/08/2017 11:38

If I remember well Kiehl's contains mineral oil which at that price point is unacceptable. Body shop butters are indeed very good but I wanted to go higher end. Indeed the formula of the darphin one absorb more easily, while keeping up with the deep hydration promise.

Origins is tested on animals though.

I second REN Rose Otto Body Lotion, the one in the tub.

Roussette · 30/08/2017 11:50

I cannot recommend this highly enough for a cheap option.

I feel like I'm an expert on body lotions because I use buckets of the stuff. I have more pricey ones but for everyday this is the one. £3.49 for a huge tub and on offer at the moment, buy 1 get 2nd half price. It's my go-to lotion

Roussette · 30/08/2017 11:53

p.s. I hate pumps. They stop working, you waste about a third of it unless you cut the bottle up. At least with a tub you can use it all

Scrumpington · 30/08/2017 12:08

I'm not a fan of Body Shop butters, I prefer something less claggy.
