Hair disaster- how to handle?

Went to my usual lovely hairdresser this week and asked for a subtle black/caramel balayage. My hair (bra length) is basically ginger from the jaw down.
I'm gutted.
How do I deal with this? Go back? I really don't know if I'm brave enough.
Or pay someone else to put it right?
The thing I'm most upset about is that my hair is naturally very dark and shiny and now it's full of bleach.
Anyone ever complained to a hairdresser and maintained a decent relationship?

I'd call them, explain to your hairdresser that you're not happy and schedule another appointment. You've paid for a service and requested a specific look, and the 'supplier' hasn't delivered.

My hairdresser has always encouraged me to go back to the salon if I've had doubts about the colour or style so she can fix it free of charge and she's been doing my hair for at least 10 years.

Good luck!
