Winter Boots

I know its August, but its been flipping cold here for the last few days, and I've realised that I have no boots.

I've had Chelsea boots for the last few years and really don't want to go back down that route. Are original Dr Martens going to make me look like an overgrown teen?

I really fancy some impractical velvet boots too, but I think I need to sort a warm and waterproof pair first.

I've some DM gayle boots, so comfy and a great casual daily wear.

I like them, and now I've started looking at biker boots too

I am a die-hard Chelsea boot fan, but last year also got some Ugg biker boots in black leather which were great on really wet days.

Ugg Kensington boots are waterproof and toasty. They go with tights, leggings and jeans really well. So comfortable and I bought them from the children's section (uk4) so not expensive!

These Ugg Biker boots were a MN swears last winter Ugg Wilcox Biker boots. They are warm, waterproof and currently on sale.

I'm mid 40's and I have dozens of pairs of DM's and don't think they are just for the young, we all need comfy footwear. I even have 2 pairs of DM flora boots which are a neater looking chelsea boot.

Dms are for everyone!

I also bought the Ugg Wilcox boots last winter in the MN madness, and oh my God they're the best. I don't even look at boots any more because I have the only winter boots I'll ever need

I have just been looking at the boots on the UGG site as I always get a pair of boots for my birthday in the Autumn.

Mine are the Ugg Simmens biker boots. I have a 30 minute walk each way for work, and wore them on wet days - i don't love the way they look, so mainly changed when I got to work, but they were perfect at keeping my feet dry.
