Kiko mascaras - any good?

There's a Kiko store near me and I've browsed a bit but been overwhelmed by the choice and also by the price..it's all so cheap, I'm not sure if it's any good!

I need a new mascara though so thought I would try it out. Any recommendations? My lashes are short and sparse so I like something as volumising and lengthening as possible.

What else is good in there?

I've never tried the mascara but I'm a huge fan of Kiko, the quality for the price is AMAZING. I'm not a big eyeshadow person but they have a nice range of single eyeshadows that are usually always on sale for £1.75, and I use a shimmery silver type shade on my inner corners and a light brown all over the lid - makes my eyes look SO much more youthful and awake even when I haven't slept!

My sister has invisible blonde eyebrows and uses their brow mascara in the lightest shade (about £6) and loves it. I definitely plan on buying more from there when I need a makeup overhaul.

I'm a Kiko fan too. They have a great range of creamy stick shadows. I haven't used the mascara but have the gel eyeliner which is recommended by Sali Hughes.

The mascaras really add volume/length but make you look like a racoon pretty quickly. Wouldn't recommend

I really like Kiko but their mascaras are only OK. Great range of colours though.

Also love Kiko, but hate their mascara.... ends up all over my face!

newmumFeb17 · 09/08/2017 16:59

Love Kiko lipsticks but their mascara isn't great. I used The Body Shop new fibre lash mascara for the first time this week and it's great!

Eyeliner is amazing, loads of colours - the intense colour index-so soft!

Squ1ggle · 09/08/2017 20:57

Agree with pps, mascara just rubs off all over your face. The eyeliner and stick eyeshadows are fab though

Love their eyeliners they last all day but i had to throw the mascara away as it irritated my eyes.

KimchiLaLa · 09/08/2017 22:24

I love Kiko. Good highlighters and eye shadows for good prices!

Their nail polish isn't the best - I have a few as they were on sale for £1 in lots of classic colours and they all chipped even with seche vite on top. Same with mascara - got very excited about trying a few and they had no pay off.

I recently brought a liquid eye liner, lipstick, eyeshadow and mascara. I am happy with my purchases.

Oooh, this is good feedback! My pet hate is mascara that smudges. Sounds like they are best avoided. I'll try out their other products though. And look at that new Body Shop mascara...thanks newmum!

The stick shadow crayons are AMAZING. Same sort of thing as the By Terry Ombré BlackStars and the Laura Mercier ones but about 1/3 of the price. I have a matte pale taupe/flesh toned one (nicer than sounds!), sparkly champagne, shimmery reddish burgundy (amazing with green/hazel eyes), copper and a dark matte taupe.

KimchiLaLa · 14/08/2017 00:04

NomdePlume thanks for that reco, I saw them in store and wondered. How long does the colour stay in your life?

KimchiLaLa · 14/08/2017 00:04

Argh auto correct! I meant lids!
