Skincare/cosmetics with NO alcohol in

Does such a thing exist? Or am I now restricted to mashed up banana and a brisk rub with a flannel?

Avoiding alcohol (denatured) isn't that hard, I've been doing it for years without issue. Just keep away from the very cheapest products mostly and a lot of natural skincare. Sunscreen is a bit tougher as alcohol has a functional role to play to establish the protection but they are out there without alcohol. Fatty alcohols are a bit tougher (generally not considered bad for the skin at all but I'm assuming you're avoiding due to sensitivity or allergy) but not impossible. Just checked my 2nd cleanser, LRP Toleriane Dermo Cleanser and that has no alcohol in it, fatty or otherwise but it does have glycols. Are you avoiding glycols too? I'm sure you'd be able to find a few products in the French pharmacy ranges or with brands like Eucerin. Look specifically at their ultra sensitive lines for intolerant skin.
