Jaeger Mac?

Debating whether to purchase a classic Jaeger mac to wear for work but also with jeans and pumps /boots at weekend. I'm 46 size 10 about 5ft 4. Dark brown (dyed) hair brown eyes and a light olive/ sallow complexion.

My usual staples are Baukjen, whistles , LK Bennett and Pure Collection, I like plain well made clothing with a splash of Zara to keep on trend.

Do you think Jaeger macs are classic or frumpy?

When you say mac do you mean a trench coat?

Can you link to the one you're looking at? I'm a fan of a mac/trench coat generally, but having recently been converted to the Protected Specis mac, I'm starting to question the value of those without hoods!

I have that EXACT trench and I love it! It always loos smart and 'put together'

I'm similar height and colouring to you, I wear it with: ankle grazing black skinny jeans, Breton stripe top and Converse/brogues/ballet pumps.
