Wedding Dress

I am just under 5 foot and a size 6. I'm in love with this style of dress but not sure if it would suit my figure/ build. I just think it's pretty.

I'm clueless about about dressing up and caring about my appearance tbh so any advice on what shoes would go with something like this (for £60 or less) would be much appreciated. And if anyone knows of any easy to create yourself hairstyles that would work with it I would be doubly happy. I have shoulder length black hair.

It will be fine but you can always get them to shorten it to the length you want !

CosmicPineapple · 08/08/2017 18:58

First one is indeed pretty and shouldnt swamp you. Although hopefully you'll be able to stand up straight in it and have your feet in the right order.

Second one is ghastly, belongs on a loo roll.

CosmicPineapple · 08/08/2017 19:14

Each to their own Special Hmm

Some people are just rude for the sake of it.

OP i hope you find the dress you want Flowers

The two posted pics are similar in style, but I do (more gently, I hope) agree that the first one is a lot nicer - I think because it isn't strapless and doesn't have the corsage-type thing on the waist.

I think the style would look absolutely lovely on you - you would just need to get the length and fullness of skirt right so that it doesn't overwhelm.

Lots of tutorials on you tube for hair styles.

Love the first one (presume you didnt post the second one?) and think it would really suit your figure, OP.

CosmicPineapple · 08/08/2017 19:32

It is nicer I agree and also nearly double the OPs budget.

I dont know why I botger with this page I am off back to AIBU its nicer Wink

Thank you Cosmic for the dress suggestion. It is pretty. Sadly I don't have the boobs for strapless ha. But will keep looking for that style.

I think I need a dress that won't swallow me up if that makes sense. Budget £200 any other suggestions welcome

I've been looking at that dress myself, it's gorgeous.

I bet you'd look fab and you could have it taken up? I think hair up would look best to show off the pretty neckline?

I like both dresses, but I prefer the first.

WingMirrorSpider · 08/08/2017 19:53

I've found the original dress you posted here for just over £100

You could look for 2nd hand house of mooshki dresses on eBay.

AmyOb · 09/08/2017 00:26

I think I like the first one too. The second one just doesn't look right although there are many other strapless designs that are appealing too .
