Hair growth?

Has anyone got any tips on "magic" hair products to encourage growth? I cut my hair last year as it desperately needed it, and although it's gradually growing back it's at a very awkward length.
Someone suggested coconut oil, but how often do I use it and how exactly?
Any other tips? Thanks :)

I think castor oil is meant to help. Never tried it myself though

Thanks right - is that to apply to the hair directly or capsules to take orally do you know? Thanks!

I think you're meant to rub it into your scalp (and hair) and leave it for a few hours. Apparently also good for growing back eyebrows and eyelashes, which is what I want to buy it for

Really healthy diet loads of eggs and green veg worked a treat for me.
There's also a shampoo in boots called long and fast, this worked for my friend
