Ordered a pair and sized up as advised - these look a bit too long though? Am I supposed to go and stand in the sea to get them to shrink??

It depends whether they are sold in UK/EU sizes or American ones. If UK then best to buy your usual size. Dipping them in water will make the leather stretch, not shrink.

I have two pairs and have my usual UK size.

I think they look like a good fit. If you size down they're going to be too narrow for you. They look lovely, really like the gold. I've been debating over buying saltwaters for months now, think I've left it a bit late, summer's practically over!

You have my feet! I've never seen anyone with feet like mine before (except for my entire family!). But you've still got toenails on your second toes. Mine are constantly at some stage of falling off with all the battering they take. (Has a sudden thought - mum, that's not you on mumsnet, is it??)

Thanks everyone, maybe I'll have a cheeky try-on of the size down in a shop... my feet grew (and one broke 😬) after dd2 so I'm never sure what to go for.

@ilovecherries the DDs are 8 and 5 so I hope you're not one of them...

@ScarlettDarling I also nearly didn't bother but am hoping at least for 10 days of sun over our hols at the end of the month!
