Mulberry bag problem

I bought a bag from mulberry four days ago and it already has a chunk of leather that has come away from the bag.

I have been extremely careful and am gutted that something that cost so much money looks so shit so quickly.

Normally I would be happy with the bag to be repaired and returned back to me but bearing in mind the short space of time I have had it I just want a refund but suspect that they will not give me one as so many forums say that they do a replacement or repair only option.

I have sent them an email but am really worried they will say they will just replace it and I'm quite disillusioned now and the shine has been taken off for me

Just stand your ground, there is no way a luxury product should fail in such a short amount of time.

There is no way they could argue that this bag was fit for purpose, so whatever they say you should stand your ground and demand a refund.

If there is any argument at all tell them you will take it up with trading standards.

The quality of Mulberry bags has declined significantly recently.

There's a Facebook group called Mulberry Swap and Sell where you'll be able to post photos of your bag and get advice from seasoned Mulberry fans who have experience dealing with their customer service and can give you really good advice.
