Hi, I'm hoping to get a steer on some accessory ideas.. outside the box thinking for me.. I recently returned to work and had thought bought a few bits now I realise I just bought a few navy suit dresses.. with nave suit jackets.. Now I think they are nice navy dresses -plain navy fitted sheath type dresses - v necked in a suit type fabric. They are predominantly from Reiss,LK B and Damsel in a Dress. But they are all the same.. and I don't want to look like a nun in a tight dress.. that leads me to my question that I hope the gurus on here might be able to help. Accessories- I have what I regard as my usual type ones.. long thin chains from monsoon.. mint velvet and the like.. but I'd love some ideas for something more statement-y but statement with a small "s" if you get my drift.. I've looked and looked and just come back to newer versions of what I have..

I'm small and very pale (hence the navy not black) you see.. and I'd love some colour too - like dainty beads etc - any ideas for v necks dresses greatly appreciated

I love Oliver Bonas for accessories, and wear either chunky silver necklaces or more delicate chains for work. I do also like fairly funky work shoes rather than traditional court shoes, to look a bit less prim!

Thanks Fiorentina - really like the jewellery on Oliver Bonas. Great mix of delicate and fine but heavy (IFYKWIM) collar type necklaces. This is one that jumped out at me.

When you say funky shoes - any examples pls & tx

Yellow and navy look great together. It's a good way of wearing yellow if you don't suit wearing yellow block colour (like 75% of people!).

Navy and coral also look great. I'm another fan of navy, being pale like the OP. I have a coral clutch bag from (!!!) Miss Selfridge and it goes with loads of my clothes.

Well I brighten up outfits with bright coloured flats or something like this m.johnlewis.com/kin-by-john-lewis-clara-slingback-court-shoes/p/3132167 or m.johnlewis.com/kin-by-john-lewis-ansa-cone-heeled-court-shoes/p/3274465

Thanks Nettletheelf- I love coral. It's great on pale skin. It's hard to get nice cardis for over dresses though- that are neat & not a three year old bolero!! Yellow flat beads r on my list to look for.. I see funky shoes Fiorentina. They are very smart.. thanks all
