Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks- any good?

Any comments? Am looking at the KISSING range in the lighter colours (but would choose in store.)

And is Pillow Talk as good as it's supposed to be?

I want a nude pink that is fairly pale but not ghostly - am light skinned, grey eyes, and use a peachy blusher.

I've got the 'Penelope pink' one that's always sold out. It came as part of a set that I paid an ungodly amount for.
Honestly, I think it's so over-rated. I don't know how the finish or consistency differs from the K.I.S.S.I.N.G range, but for lipsticks it doesn't get any better than Mac for me.

Oh, forgot to say. I've got the lipliner in the 'pillowtalk' shade and it shows up quite pinky on me. Think I might've got a weird batch though because it's another hyped product.

I have Pillow Talk and I love it! It's lovely, smooth and moisturising and a gorgeous colour - I'm pale and blonde and it's a perfect nude on me. It also smells delicious!

I love pillow talk! I'm olive skinned with dark hair/hazel eyes and it's the perfect nude for me too. Really creamy consistency, not drying at and lasts for ages

The nude are more on the orange peachy side than pink.

They are average quality.

Packaging is attractive though.

I am a recent convert to CT. I don't wear pink lipsticks because they don't suit me but I love the shades I've got and also the eye make up. I have invested in foundation yet as I hardly ever wear it and am currently working through a bottle of Clinique foundation which I bought over 2 years ago!

I went to have a look and tried Pillow Talk and then the supposed dupe of it L'Oréal Rosewood. I got the Rosewood!

PamDooveOrangeJoof · 05/08/2017 13:16

Sorry that should have been Max Factor Rosewood.

TurnipCake · 05/08/2017 13:47

I ordered a set of lipsticks a few years ago and the quality was awful (as with other CT products I've tried); hardly any lasting power at all, the red shade bled and they seemed very greasy.

Dailystuck71 · 05/08/2017 14:06

Yes. I like them. Good quality and they last.

Lonelynessie · 05/08/2017 17:01

Yes, I bought one for my wedding and it lasted all day.

Lottapianos · 05/08/2017 17:20

I have a few CT lipsticks. They're good and the mattes are pretty creamy and non drying. The range of colours is great. To be honest though, I find Maybelline, Revlon and Max Factor just as good
