What to wear with this dress?

I've got a work do coming up (informal, drinks in pub) and I'm thinking of wearing this dress and these shoes but I want to cover my upper arms. Suggestions for cardigans etc please. I'm a size 16-18 hourglass and my usual style is a mix of 40s retro/rockabilly and scruffy hippy boho!

I would wear a orange cropped cardigan or kimono to bring out the colour of the fish on the dress

I'd wear some kind of bolero/shrug in a colour that's both in the shoes and the dress. Like the pic attached in the appropriate colour?

My immediate thought was something like this Boden fifties cardigan. I used to have one I wore with tea dresses etc. There's not much left, but there does appear to be an orange size 16 left - which would match both - if you're quick. Else one of their cropped cashmere cardis might be nice.

I honestly don't like those shoes with the dress, I think they'd be too much, too eclectic. For a more classy look I'd probably wear a light gold heels and gold jewellery, maybe that brushed lighter look gold

The shrug that @Orangebird69 has posted would look perfect! The shoes I don't like though (sorry!!).

Thanks for the replies. I know the dress and shoes look a bit 'eclectic' together but I'm a fairly eclectic looking person in general! I think I'm going to go with an orange shrug. The Jane Norman one looks good.
