Tall size trousers for new job!

Start a new job this month, which is exciting, but I've been a student for the last 6 years, so I've been living in jeans, jumpers/t-shirts, and really need some good work basics to get me started.
I've bought some great tops, but I'm 5'9, and a size 16, so trousers can be an issue. I'm looking for comfortable, but smart looking trousers (I'll be working in a secondary school, non-teaching role).They need to wash well (no dry cleaning please!), if that's realistic. I'm not too bothered about style...legs are slimmish, but I am blessed with an ample bottom!
Any recommendations are appreciated!

Next, long tall sally and tall girls. I have success with Dorothy Perkins as well sometimes. Or if you CBA to trawl through the crap, M&S!

M&S Long trousers have a 33" inside leg which is usually long enough for my DD and I (both 5'9" - but very different sizes).

Haha Ollivander ...i did look through M&S because their jeans fit me so well, but I wasn't impressed with their work type trousers.

Also try new look. And very has a talk range not very big but it does have work type trousers.

Also try ASOS - quite a few nice styles on there and they're generous with their talk section ASOS

Gap do tall trousers, too. They're quiet snug, though, so try before you buy!
