Ash Jess boots? Cool or not?

I've just collected a pair I got from Brand Boudoir for £80, the topo suede ones.

I'm not sure about them, I mean I like them , but I don't know how much I would wear them. Also £80 is a lot of money, though they are £150 full price!

They only had size 5 and I'm a 5.5 , they are a bit tight thought not uncomfortable, do they give at all?

For that price they have to be perfect and for you they aren't!

My opinion on the doesn't matter but il give it anyway, that are ok. They aren't my thing but there's nothing that screams terrible but then there isn't anything that screams wow to me either. If I saw them I wouldn't have a big reaction either way but there's nothing wrong with them.

I would return them only because of the size. I mean if you pay 80 pounds for shoes, it has to be the correct size. Otherwise you will find yourself avoiding them and opting for something comfier.

There are hundreds of versions of the same boot across all price ranges every autumn (at least, there have been for about 5 years) so I would return them.

I do like them a lot but think it's silly to keep them if the wrong size.

I'll try them on later and decide , I'd had a very long day travelling from the NW to London and back in a day when I first tried them on I'd imagine that's going to make anyone's feet expand a bit :) thanks all!

I think I would definitely struggle to justify full price on them...

I would return them due to the sizing.

I've been there, bought the shoes, worn once and remembered the discomfort and reached for a different pair every other time I looked at them!

Going against the grain, ash boots are amazing. They do give, and mine are so comfy equally barefoot or socked. They go with everything and have magical leg slimming properties and best of all, the heel doesn't feel tricky to walk in (i struggle with heels!) I've just bought my second pair and they're a little snug despite my first pair being a little loose so i'm sure they'll give. Plus on the ash website it advises that they give.
So i'd keep them.

Update - I've got these Jigsaw Cara boots being delivered to store £44.00 in the sale, just hope I can get my trotters into them - actually prefer them as they are slightly higher :)

Lovely ! Oli- how do they size? I had to order the 5 , I'm sometimes a 5 but sometimes a 6, they only had a 5 ( a recurring theme!) . They let me try a similar style in instore and to be honest there was little difference between the 5 and 6. Fingers crossed !

Confusingly! I'm a 7 or an 8 but their 8 is a 41 which is a 7 elsewhere
Anyway I got the 41 and they're perfect

Me too! I've just bought these in the sale in navy thanks to MN! I'm hoping they fit OK but they are an amazing bargain in the sale.

I tried some navy ones very similar to the Jess but this season , they were lovely. I just tried them in for size before I ordered the Jess in the sale.

My Jigsaw Cara Boots finally arrived to collect ! I love them , tiny bit tight but I think they will give. Really pleased £44 bargain x
