Is this ok for an interview?

Last minute interview tomorrow at 8am, it's my second interview with this company and meeting with their CEO.

I don't have time to grab anything else but if it's absolutely terrible I will rush out somewhere. I asked DM if this was ok and she replied "well no, not really, you look like you should be going to a wedding" Blush

I'm also trying to lose weight and the thought of trying anything fills me with dread! Sad

I love it! Perfect for this time of year.
Do you have a jacket?

SleepFreeZone · 01/08/2017 15:00

Lovely.

Thenorthbloodywellremembers · 01/08/2017 15:00

Looks professional and fabulous. Good luck!

thisismadness77 · 01/08/2017 15:00

I think it's fine.

BlueWatersByTheSea · 01/08/2017 15:00

I think you maybe need to wear a suit jacket.
I wouldn't wear pink to an interview but I work in a very corporate environment which it would be viewed a bit odd not wearing a suit dress & jacket to an interview with the CEO.

MTMR1 · 01/08/2017 15:02

I don't have a jacket, well not one that would match the dress nicely. What colour shall I go for?

It's not what I'd call, a corporate environment as such... more smart casual and then a dress down day on a Friday.

It's for a management role in a sales office if that helps.

Looks very smart and whilst you could change the accessories and wear it for another occasion, with that bag and 'office' shoes I think it's great for an interview! Good luck!

Fosterdog123 · 01/08/2017 15:05

Looks fine to me. It looks more beige than pink.

Want2beme · 01/08/2017 15:05

It is lovely and if it was a gorgeous sunny day, it'd be perfect. Is your interview with a corporate company? If so, do you have a fitted jacket to wear with it? If not corporate, it might seem a little overdressed? You are very slim already. Hope you don't mind me saying that. Hope it goes really well for you.

MTMR1 · 01/08/2017 15:11

DM did also say I look too over dressed but she wears crocs outside the house Grin

The company is a nationwide sales company, they are corporate with a personal feel IYSWIM?

Maybe I should play it safe with a smart blouse, slim fitting black trousers and some heels? Argh I'm nervousBlush

No, wear it, it looks great. Not overdressed at all. Good luck with the interview!

nina2b · 01/08/2017 18:24

It's lovely and you look great in it! A jacket would be a nice touch - can you borrow one from a friend!?
Good luck!

Alicia555 · 01/08/2017 18:29

Dress is fab! Smart enough for an interview! Where's it from? Smile

Softkitty2 · 01/08/2017 18:31

You look beautiful. I'd rather be overdressed than under dressed

GriefLeavesItsMark · 01/08/2017 18:38

It looks lovely. But if I wore something like that I'd have spilt coffee on it and managed to get in covered in marks before I left the house.

pieceofpurplesky · 01/08/2017 18:40

It looks great and you have an amazing figure. Go in head held high and get the job!

Catinthecorner · 01/08/2017 18:47

I think you look great for an interview

tallfox · 01/08/2017 18:56

I'd check the weather forecast, it's due to pour with rain where I am.

millifiori · 01/08/2017 19:00

It looks great. You look gorgeous in it, as though you've made an effort, and you'll stand out in their memory against all the people in their smart black trousers.

Yvetteballs · 01/08/2017 19:00

It looks lovely but if you hAve time, try to get a matching jacket. Grey or cream?

DryIce · 01/08/2017 19:02

I think you look lovely! And I work in a pretty corporate office, and would consider that definitely appropriate.

DonkeysDontRideBicycles · 01/08/2017 19:17

You look great in it, good luck with the interview.

MTMR1 · 01/08/2017 20:00

Thanks guys.

DP says no, put smart trousers and a blouse on with the same shoes as in the picture.

I don't feel as though I'm making an effort as such with just smart trousers though.

You look nice, it's a good outfit for a job interview. Good luck.

MrsPear · 01/08/2017 23:03
