Lindybop style dress help

I need some help with finding a dress like a dress! I ordered this one from Lindybop, tried it on and it's perfect in every way except the sleeves - they are cap and just not me. I want to wear it to a wedding so wouldn't want to wear a cover up or cardigan either.

Can anyone help me find something similar with a longer sleeve? I will love you forever!

Have you checked out topvintage.net/ already? They have a ton of vintage reproduction dresses and are having a sale right now. Other vintage companies at the same price point as LB that I can think of right now are: Hell Bunny, Lady V, Hearts&Roses, Dolly&Dotty

Also collectif.co.uk has a 50% sale on everything right now too.

This is too wintery for a summer wedding but its just an example of similar stuff you can find at those sites

Oh another affordable one I forgot to add is Voodoo Vixen

I am no help but may I add some solidarity in the form of hatred for cap sleeves? Why do designers insist on adding these to so may otherwise perfect dresses and tips? They suit very very few people and look awful on the vast majority.

Oh thank you so much user I will have a look at all of those sites. I actually found that Collectif one when I was searching for alternatives, I really like it and the wedding is end of September so I think I could just get away with it maybe?!

Oh don't hairq I was thinking yesss this dress is so nice and then oh ffs look at the sleeves! So annoying, and you are right, they don't suit anyone!
I was trying to think of ways of replacing them (desperation) but the dress is going back Sad

Try dig for victory. Both online and a shop in Brighton. Pricier than Lindy Bop but a good range.

If that were me, I'd buy some purple lace, take it to a dressmaker and get them to make a purple lace bolero type thing to be worn UNDER the dress - probably to just below the elbow.

Try Elsie's attic they have some lovely vintage inspired dresses

Little Wings Factory keep cropping up on my timeline with some lovely dresses in that style.
