Pinafore for teen dd

Shopping for school uniform, dd (14, tall, slender) tried on this pinafore for a lark and loved it. TBF it looked fabulous on her - not like uniform at all. She tried the biggest size they had, 11-12, so it was shorter and closer-fitting than in the picture.

She would really like one for everyday (naturally wouldn't be seen dead in it at school!). Any ideas?

You mean she wants one that isn't the uniform one? Sounds cool to me.

They had some pinafore style dresses at Dorothy Perkins a wee while back.

Topshop have loads of lovely cord pinafore dresses, lots of different colours they're really flattering

Stretchy, thick jersey. A bit like a cross between a pinafore and tulip dress. I can't find anything like it. (But I'm totally not a stylista, which is why I need your help! )
