I am looking for a classic trench coat. Any recommendation? I would like something durable that I can wear for many years.

What is your budget? Comptoir des Cotonniers is great for these without being Aquascutum/Burberry prices.

I have this one www.jaeger.co.uk/trench-coat-596102y-15500?___store=jaeger from Jaeger bought 2-3 years ago and it is wearing very very well

Burberry 🙊

AnaViaSalamanca · 31/07/2017 18:26

Thanks all. Burberry would have been nice, but way way out of my budget. I saw and LOVED the Cotonniers ones though!

I have one from banana republic that I really like. Not sure what they have in at the moment but they usually have some classic styles

My best hVe been from Hobbs. The cotton is lovely

Alicia555 · 01/08/2017 18:45

Burberry is the best but pricey. I have a fab one from M and S that I wear almost daily!

There is a trench coat in the upcoming JW Anderson x Uniqlo collaboration that I have high hopes for, because the trench he did in his Topshop range about 5 years ago was great.

Floisme · 01/08/2017 19:49

I'm looking forward to JW Anderson too Smile

There's a long Autograph trenchcoat in the M&S autmn preview that I like the look of although only time will tell.

I've seen second hand Aquascutum raincoats in excellent condition at far more affordable prices than Burberry.
