Dresses that can be worn

With a cardy in the autumn/winter.

I've been searching around for a plain dress or too, knee length that can be worn now in the summer but can also be worn into autumn and winter. I work from home so don't need thick winter clothes. Plus I'm quite prone to be sweaty at the moment, (early signs of menopause I think)

I'm watching a couple of monsoon dresses on eBay but am unsure of the sizing?

I've also had a look at oasis but the patterns hurt my eyes on some of them.

Has anyone got any recommendations for plain knee length dresses please.

Ive just bought this direct.asda.com/george/womens/tops/printed-jersey-tunic/GEM583145,default,pd.html
I had a black one last season, just bought this and the navy one. It's just above the knee on me, really flattering - skims over lumps and bumps, I wear them with leggings now, but if you are slightly less wobbly than me they'd look fine without. And £12.50 each.
