Got big night out planned for Friday.

I have gained 4 stone since DS!
I'm now a size 20... 5"10.
Biggish boobs, smaller waist, big tummy.

I'm blonde, fair, and late 20's.

I'm thinking of a black dress?? Nice hair and red lipstick??
We're going for drinks in a naice bar and then going dancing.

I have NO clothes!
Send me ALL your links! Every one! I want to feel FANTASTIC - can you tell I never go out?!

I have gained 3 stone and its shit!! But lucky you having a night out planned!! So envious op!!.
Have a Wine for me!!

Depressedanduseless · 29/07/2017 16:32

Hmm.
I think, for me, fitted up top, maybe lower cut? But then more floaty skirt wise might be better, those boohoo dresses look like they might just make me look like a ball...
My legs are OK in tights, black opaques, not nudes.

I'm too tall and clumsy for heels! Maybe ankle boots?!

I was trying to find a great one I bought from Asos at Christmas but it seems to be gone now. When I did filter results for black/size/dress/going out they did have some really nice dresses on there. Might even buy one myself.

Given your height, I reckon the boohoo dresses would be too short for you anyway!

As mentioned, Asos curve is usually worth a look, but also check out their tall range, which sometimes goes up to a size 20. This one's quite plain, but then you can wear whatever you want with it/over it:

www.asos.com/asos-tall/asos-tall-midi-wrap-tea-dress-with-long-sleeves/prd/7251336?clr=black&SearchQuery=&cid=19780&pgesize=114&pge=0&totalstyles=114&gridsize=3&gridrow=10&gridcolumn=1

If you wanted to wear something over it but find the sleeves make it too bulky, I would just chop them off!

I think this would look good with all black, depending on whether it suited your shape:

www.asos.com/alice-you/alice-you-cami-dress-with-metallic-spot-print/prd/8047832?clr=multi&SearchQuery=&cid=9579&pgesize=105&pge=0&totalstyles=105&gridsize=3&gridrow=22&gridcolumn=3

I find New Look a little dodgy for length, and it does say the model is 5'7, but:

Maybe this?

Too casual?

No fat girl real life shops here unfortunately.

Our new look is tiny too.
I might go and look in Dorothy Perkins tomorrow

I find them true to size too

LizTaylorsFabulousTurban · 29/07/2017 18:37

Scarlett and Jo dresses are fab. Designed for a larger figure and really flattering (delivery is quick too). I wore one to a wedding recently (am the same size as you OP) and got so many complements.

adifferentnameforthis · 29/07/2017 18:37

Scarlett and Jo are really good quality. Not sure I like the ones you linked though. Too dull.

Depressedanduseless · 29/07/2017 18:40

liz which one did you wear?
