How can I 'evening'/black tie this haircut?

I have a short sloped bob with a fringe. Great everyday haircut - however, I've got a black tie wedding soon and need to do something with it! What's worse is it's on the States so I'm imaging lots of big haired Californian blondes and their hair to compete with...

Photo is with an attempt at messy waves, which was my only idea of livening it up a bit. (Not done perfectly, I'll practise and nail it before the wedding)

The link is to a similar style, I suspect I'll grow the front a bit longer and make the slope more dramatic.

Any suggestions?

I bet your hair looks lovely sleek and straight and shiny.

bananafanana1 · 29/07/2017 10:59

Straight and shiny definitely- and a lovely big sparkly diamanté clip or side tiara 👸🏻

Just wear it how you like it and exude an air of British eccentricity.

bun it

I agree, go for straight and sleek. Think Uma Thurman in Pulp Fiction.

I'll make sure its newly dyed then and experiment with a clip!
