Listen up all you sheepWink

Just made a great discovery in Boots, Expert Nail Care dual action cuticle remover. £6.49.

Doesn't matter how much oil/cream I put on my cuticles they are always raggedy and rough. Used this and it's like a moisturising exfoliator, then you wash it off and you're left with lovely cuticles. You can push them back if you need too also.

Just thought I'd shareSmile

Great, was just thinking the other day that I'd not had a MN purchase for a while (week probably).

Fabellini · 29/07/2017 14:33

Excellent - even better its from Boots as I've got about £40 of advantage points just now!

ElspethFlashman · 29/07/2017 15:00

OldJoseph · 29/07/2017 23:13

Hmmm, can't see it on their website. Is it in the shop only?

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 30/07/2017 00:00

I bought it in the shop.

Oooh, thanks for the tip! I have good nails, but awful cuticles! And I have a boots voucher collecting dust that needs to be used up....

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 30/07/2017 00:12

I can't see it on line either, just had a look. It was on the stand with all the nail clippers/ files/ false nails etc.

I'd just rather use one of these and have no cuticles :)

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 30/07/2017 00:25

I have one of those but still end up with a kind of roughness.

OP posts:
DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 30/07/2017 00:26

This stuff sort of exfoliates while you push them back.

OP posts:
EnidButton · 30/07/2017 00:35

It doesn't remove remove them does it? Because I'd like mine to be less dry and get less hang nails but don't want to remove them altogether.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 30/07/2017 00:37

You need an oil then I would think.

EnidButton · 30/07/2017 00:41

Don't want to remove the cuticles altogether I mean. I do want to remove the dry bits etc so this stops happening...

EnidButton · 30/07/2017 00:43

Dame Tried oils and they don't get rid of the dryness at all for some reason. Was it fairly inexpensive? Wonder if I could try it on one nail first, see how I get on.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 30/07/2017 00:46

It was £6 so not a massive outlay.

I tried- oils, creams, cuticle cutters,vaseline,8hr cream and cuticle hoof things. This stuff was better than anything I'd tried.

Off to Boots in the morning!
Thank you Wink.

Also that cartoon is so accurate. I'm a terrible picker and peeler.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 30/07/2017 00:50

Put it on and massage it in- it feels granular. Then gently use an orange stick to push back cuticles, have another rub and rinse the stuff off and use a cream or oil.

Oh that's not so bad. Plus I have points that'll cover it.

Having had a quick Google I think I've been confused as to which but is the cuticle. This is a decent explanation www.myblisskiss.com/blog/cuticle/ It's the sides of my fingers right next to the nails that I need to find something for.

I may just be confused. Grin It's late.

Margot It's spot on. Can never leave a sharp bit so just gently, careful tug it a bit and then....😩

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 30/07/2017 00:54

It's not for the sides,it's for rough cuticles.
