SNS nails, gel or shellac?

Can anyone tell me what is the best option for a manicure and polish. What is your preferred treatment and why? I want to treat myself but don't know what the difference is between all the nail treatments now available. Thanks in advance.

The best manicures I ever have are done with OPI Gels. Didn't like Shellac much, have had a few from different places and they've all peeled quicker than OPI which I always have to have professionally taken off.

I'd go for gelish myself. Never chips, ever!

Ok, sounds good. Someone at work has SNS which looks amazing but I want somerhing that won't wreck my real nails. Gelish sounds perfect.

I have SNS and my nails aren't great underneath, however my DD had SNS too but stopped having her nails done a few months ago and started applying solar oil every night and they have recovered really well and look very healthy now.
