Jeans for tall & curvy: New Look Tall Supersoft skinnies??

Has anyone tried these, please? The idea of 'soft' is appealing, although worried they might not be high enough in the waist.

(I'm 5'11 and size 12. 'Curvy' as in 'hourglass/wide hips', not plus-size.)

Watching with interest as I'm tempted by a pair of these at the moment.

I currently love New Look jeans. I have several pairs of the supersoft superskinny 'India' jeans. Not in Tall, I'm 5'9" and 34in leg is just right for me. I think their Tall jeans come in 36in and 38in.

The India style come just over my hips but a little below my belly button.

And they are very soft. I wash them on a delicate setting because I'm always worried about shrinking jeans, they'be been through several times now and still feel soft. They've got a fair amount of stretch to them too.

Sorry, also I'm a size 14 and wide-of-hip.

I am currently mourning the discontinuation of their super soft high waisted skinnies in navy (5ft 9 size 18). The comfiest pair of jeans I have ever owned but can't get them anymore.

Yes, I'd say so.

If you do order a few sizes, they do Collect+ so you can always return for free. I ordered a few different styles to see which fit I liked best. Sizes seemed pretty consistent across styles too. But the supersoft superskinnies were definitely my favourite.

As a short and curvy person who's tried on squillions of pairs of jeans in the last few days, I'd recommend Oasis. Lovely and soft but far, far too long for me.

Are they proper skinny? As an apple shape, my legs are by far my best feature and jeans that aren't skinny to the ankle make me look awful.
