Comfortable sandals

We are off to Croatia in a couple of weeks which will involve some city walking. Need some comfortable sandals to wear ... Skechers make my feet smell but something in that price range would hopefully mean they last. Have been looking at birkenstocks but hear they need can rub and give blisters! Any recommendations? Thanks in advance.

I can only potter in Birkenstocks. Have a look at Clarks.

I don't think Birkenstocks are cushioned enough for lots of walking. I second Clarks or hiking sandals (Mountain Warehouse etc.).

Hotter Tourist sandals. I've recommended them about 100 times on here, but they've made my summer walking so easy. They're not stylish, but they're less ugly than Skechers and proper outdoorsy walking sandals.

I wore Birkenstocks every day for 3 weeks walking miles around Disney World in America in 35+ heat. Not a blister in sight!

tevas are perfect for comfy walking

just bought a pair very similar to these last week, walking dog everyday in them, fine with shorts & t-shirt, comfortable straightaway and I am very particular about my feet.

Clarks Trigenic - comfortable from first wear.

Birkenstocks - but only Gizeh model. All the others are fine for pootling about only There is a reason why Gizehs are never reduced in sales when all the other are!
