Alternatives to foundation?

I am in my mid 40s and don't have great skin (pores, blackheads, some spots). I use Vichy cover up foundation for strong coverage.

I'm going on holiday soon to a very hot country. My skin does improve with the sun (please no lectures here, I'm aware of long lasting skin damage etc!).

My usual foundation is going to be too heavy for the hot sweaty weather. So I'm wondering what I can use instead to improve overall appearance of skin.

Not sure whether to go for a BB cream, CC cream (never used them before) or something else like Clarins Flash balm?? Any suggestions?

Body shop BB cream - it's a little green sqeezy tube and has tea tree in it which mouisturises and helps clear blemishes. Love it!

Erborian cc cream is light.
I mix it with SPF to thin it out more and then use some pro longwear Mac concealer in hot weather

Lily Lolo?

Thanks for suggestions so far, looking them all up. I am in London so can access most shops but haven't got time to order online as I've only got a week before going.

Never even heard of Lily Lolo but looks good.
